First off, these things were not true because of God. they were because of people who were corrupt and did things with "God" as an excuse just for an excuse. Also, many Christians and the church have been stereotyped as hypocrites, just wanting your money, being boring, being liars, untrue and many other things. If the Bible is true, Christianity is true, making God true.
