In New Orleans, the public park area between the Audubon Zoo and the Mississippi River. This area once featured a garish example of low-budget 1960's kitsch architecture that resembled an abstract angular fly and was last used to rent roller skates. While the building was destroyed long ago, the locals still refer to the park as "The Fly".
