The term Zoley originated in the city of Perth, Australia, from the commonly used phrase 'lol', or 'laugh out loud'. Mispellings of lol often resulted in lole, which evolved into zole, which over time evolved into zoley. Now, the term zoley is most often accompanied by an excalmation mark and a capital 'Z'; Zoley! It is also commonly used as a phrase to replace the saying 'oh my!' or is considered a term to use when one id feeling particularly excitable.
