A city in southeastern Turkey, and main Kurdish city in Turkey, possibly "the capital" if there were a Kurdistan. In Turkey all cities have something famous, either a fruit, vegetable, or other products/things; Diyarbakir is famous for its Watermelon, with cultural "biggest watermelon" and other watermelon related contests/festival yearly around September. Diyarbakir is also very, very HOT in the summer, it's intense heat is also a topic well known as well as other cities around it such as batman, elazig, urfa, mardin, adiyaman, bingol, malatya, sanliurfa... But they are not as hot as Diyarbakir, then secondly Urfa.
