exclaimation, also: "that's a crew", or "sounds like a crew" Used after hearing a list of people you would not wish to spend time with, like wise a crew is a group of boring, annoying or generally frustrating people. Originated in Dublin 6, Ireland amongst secondary school students. The visual symbol for a crew is to hold up one or both of your hands at head height, palms facing the person you're talking to, with your pinky and ring finger clenched and your thumb, index and middle finger felxing in time with each other.
