Kappa Phi Lambda was founded on March 9th 1995 at SUNY Binghamton by 7 women: Elizabeth Choi, Karen Eng, Rei Hirasawa, Hee Cho Moon, Chae Yoo Park, Samantha Somchanmavong, and Connie Yang. The sisters of Kappa Phi Lambda strive to strengthen sisterhood amongst women, by providing service and promoting cultural diversity, to their members and their community, thus securing the bond of kinship for posterity.
