preservers of ancient spiritual culture. hence why even though people would diagree being a goth is to adhere to the gothic religion... all those famous things or secrets of our world not known in words yet ie (still unwritten law)...the celebration of old religions and/or cultures , or people (that have often died).. the gothic must not make up what he represents ie they cannot celebrate a false god for example or he is gothic towards himself he has lost what he considers his or her true self and hence they dress up like they are dead ... it is a religion based on true exprience be it people in the past or themselves
