A tendency one has leaving their mouth slightly open exposing their teeth, gums, and even tongue. In most cases, the jaw is shut or close to being shut, however the lips are not. Examples of this are often found with white males. When the mouth is left ajar during random moments (excluding smiles), it resembles the open hood of an automobile that is equiped with a forced induction system. There are no benefits in having 'ram air'. Many viewers: family, friends, passerbys will secretely stare and gawk at the aesthetics of one's open mouth in between idle moments of conversation. The collection of dust and air debris will sometimes become an interference for the individual as well as loved ones.
