Wacky Wizard Synth - the symphonic, instrumental tones commonly found in Scandinavian metal music. “Wacky” - describes how death metal is not typically known for majestic and/or operatic melodies; ”Wizard” - signifies the mystical sound that is created as a result of the above referenced fusion; and “Synth” - (short for synthesizer) refers to the keyboard instrument that produces this creative musical technique.
