Greenbriar is the name of an eco-friendly group primarily located in Mississauga. Currently devoted to stopping animal and plant cruelty, Greenbriar has made a name for themselves on the streets, helping the environment and animal community. Founded on July 18th in 1993, Greenbriar has peacefully maintained and mediated thousands of street-to-street ecological problems. Legendary for their recent achievements in animal shelters, Greenbriar is a help-fund with a very prospecting future for everyone. Commonly, Greenbriar is mistaken for a group of protesting hippies. Of course, this is just a misnomer, as Greenbriar's political stance is far contrasting that of hippies. Never have the people of Greenbriar physically protested against something they believe against. The name Greenbriar comes from the wildflower seed that is commonly farmed in Ontario. The actual founding of Greenbriar started when subtle activists were petitioning against the endangering of the Greenbriar. Fortunately, the problem was almost immediately stopped; since then, the original band of people has created this very joyous group of people.
