A university in the heart of downtown Toronto. And contrary to popular belief, Ryerson *IS* a university, albeit a very non-traditional one at that which makes this institution unique. Ryerson is aptly located amidst the hustle-and-bustle of the city, which has often labeled Ryerson University as having "street cred." This is a school where, on comparison with other insitutions in the area, the students are not snobby, not obnoxious, and just generally really open-minded. Ryerson is well known for its Business, Image Arts, and Media (Journalism, Radio, etc) programs. Ryerson also hires some of the coolest professors to lecture the courses (the Pop Culture prof looks and acts like Jack Black, seriously!) Ryersonians are collectively known as the Ryerson Rams, who happen to kick quite a lot of arse. Ryerson is also particularly well-known for boasting a fine-looking student body. ;)
