Pronounced, "Shar-Day", a band named for its vocalist Helen Folasade Adu (Sade), also featuring Stuart Matthewman (saxophonist and guitarist), Andrew Hale (keyboardist)and Paul S. Denman (bassist). They are a mix of Jazz, R&B, and Soul. Sade debuted in the early eighties and released their first album, "Diamond Life" in 1984. Since then, Sade has released six albums, including a "Best of" and a "Live" album. Matthewman, Hale, and Denman are now part of the Neo Soul band Sweetback.
