First off I would like to state that in no way was this meant to be derogatory to anybody of any subculture and I actually enjoy the scene and your scene kids and do not wish to offend. The typical scene kid can be noticed by the following; -black teased medium length hair with red, pink, or blonde streaks in the underlayers -tight dark blue jeans with a taper to them in most cases. -if the scene girl chooses to don a skirt than black 3/4 leggings are appropriate attire to match. -heavy well done make-up throughout the eye area for men... -... and to add you have sometimes a pattern of stars from the corner of the eye(dots and other objects are also acceptable.)also they usually don a small amount of blush to make their cheeks rosy. -tight band t- shirts (black or a bright colour) or a random t-shirt -large framed sunglasses(Chanel, Dolce&Gabanna, Versace etc.) -you can usually find them accesorizing with a bandanna of some colour on their bodies. -usually slip on flat shoes or converse chuck taylor high tops. -gauged(stretched) ear holes -facial piercings -tattoos -tight longsleeves or jackets with a faux fur trim -studded leather belts with impressive buckles or a regular buckle off to the side. That is how i would define your average scene kid, however whereever you go there is always going to be some form of difference based on that area's current trends.
