1. Eric Burdon aka 'eggs' lead singer of band the animals. Named so for his fondness of breaking eggs over young women on one ocassion done in the presence of John Lennon. As described in his biography and referenced to in popular beatles song 'i am the walrus' written by Lennon. The B-side track on the magical mystery tour to Paul Mccartney's 'Hello GoodBye'. 2. Also the name of an eggman in sega game brand 'Sonic the hedgehog'. Origionaly named 'Dokutā Egguman' (Japanese for Doctor Eggman) but renamed eggman for English speaking markets. He is known in some games as Docto Ivo Robotnik because his grandfather's name was 'Gerald Robotnik'. 3. The nickname of egg-artist Alan Traynor.
