Alkaloid found in the poppy plant and subsequently in raw opium. It is mostly removed from refined opium but is always preset in poppium or poppy tea. It has neither sedative nor stimulant actions on the user. In fact, it is mostly contradictory to the affects of most of the alkaloids in opium. It is extracted and used to prevent post operational stroke and sometimes for erectile dysfunction.
