Shortened name for the band Death Cab for Cutie. Formed in Bellingham, WA. Currently refer to Seattle, WA as their home. Known for their poppy songs mainly based on love and relationships and the ideas and situations that stem from those topics. Unfortunately Death Cab has been labeled largely as an emo band. While the line can be thin at times, this is not the case at all. Band members are Christopher Walla (Guitar), Ben Gibbard (Lead Vocals, Writer), Nick Harmer (Bass), and Micheal Schorr (Drums). Albums include You Can Play These Songs with Chords (1997) Something About Airplanes (1999), We Have The Facts And We're Voting Yes (2000), The Photo Album (2001), Transatlanticism (2003), and Plans (2005). EPs include The Forbidden Love EP, Stability EP, Studio X Sessions EP, and The John Byrd EP. Singles released so far include Stability from the Stability EP. A Movie Script Ending, We Laugh Indoors, and I was a Kaleidoscope from The Photo Album. The New Year, The Sound of Settling, and Title and Registration from Transatlanticism. Soul Meets Body, Crooked Teeth, and I Will Follow You into the Dark from Plans.
