Many people like to uninstall Internet Explorer if they plan on using Firefox for the rest of their lives, but this isn't possible because IE is integrated into Windows. However, it is possible to *disable* access to IE using one of the following methods: 1. Select "Set Program Access and Defaults" from the Start menu. Uncheck each browser that you would like to disable access to. 2. From the Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel, select "Add/Remove Windows Components." Uncheck the checkbox next to IE.
