AutoX is a driving skill contest conducted on courses that emphasize car handling and agility rather than speed or power. The course consists of straight sections and connecting turns or corners, as marked by pylons, generally resembling a miniature road course. If a driver displaces a pylon during a run a one second time penalty will be assessed (cumulative for each pylon displaced). Failure to complete the course in the correct order will result in a score of "Did Not Finish" (DNF). Each driver will get three attempts on the AutoX Course with their best time counting toward the overall score.
