The area located on Pohnpei (Federated States of Micronesia) in northern district of Madolenihmw. Enimwahn now Ohwa, was an independent area of considerable conflict and resistance to central authority dating back to the Saudeleur period, and later to include intense conflict between the Spanish and Pohnpeians, which erupted into battles between Protestant and Catholic forces.
