A term used in relativistic computing, relativistic technologies, and FTL theory to describe a localized region of spacetime that is causally isolated or experiences distorted temporal and spatial relations compared to its surroundings. In computing, a relativistic bubble might be a system where information processing occurs at near‑light speeds or under extreme time dilation to achieve computational advantages. In warp drive theory, it refers to the warp bubble itself. More broadly, it denotes any engineered region where relativistic effects (time dilation, length contraction) are intentionally manipulated for technological purposes.
