The established, institutionalized set of beliefs and practices within atheist communities: that God does not exist, that religion is harmful, that science is the only reliable path to knowledge, that religious believers are irrational, and that atheism is the default rational stance. This orthodoxy is maintained through social media, conferences, podcasts, and publications, and it often goes unexamined because it is presented as simply "what rational people believe." Atheist orthodoxy can be as stifling as any religious orthodoxy.
