People usually think this is slang for “sexual intercourse” or if you’d consider it with someone or something. But there is a much darker meaning. You see in some darker threads and domains of the occult, we have things known as vamping (as in vampire), and things known as energy siphoning. When an occult practitioner or any entity for that matter taps you, they are renting or owning a tap in your head to siphon your energy. There’s multiple ways to do this, but it often involves keeping someone’s attention on them, or focused on them, or keeping a subconscious thought process focused on them. And you might’ve already wondered why people say “tap” to mean this, it’s such an interesting word choice. So all in all: To tap that in an occult energy vampire context, means to energy siphon someone.
