A specialized directed‑energy weapon that projects a force‑like pulse, pushing or throwing targets instead of burning them. Often called “shunt rifles” or “push guns,” they use rapidly oscillating electromagnetic fields or gravitational wave modulation. An energy repulsor rifle can send a grown person flying into a wall, clear a room by flinging furniture, or non‑lethally disperse a crowd. The downside is power efficiency – pushing takes more energy than burning. Also, Newton’s third law still applies; the shooter feels a kick.
