A form of Digitallighting where the perpetrator dismisses everything the target says by labeling it “bullshit,” “nonsense,” “pseudoscience,” or other contemptuous terms, without ever engaging the substance. The goal is to erode the target’s credibility and sanity by making their every utterance seem laughably false. The constant dismissal—often performed in public threads—creates a reality where the target’s words are pre‑emptively invalidated, and any attempt to defend themselves is met with more accusations of “bullshit.” Bullslighting is a favorite of bad‑faith debaters who want to silence without argument.
