The Thompson creeper in Thompson, Pennsylvania Lives in myth and legend. All of Susquehanna County and Northeastern Pennsylvania have heard rumors and stories of his existence. Some say it is very much like the bigfoot sightings throughout the United States. On dark starless nights you can hear him and his screeching yowel, in the distance. It is best to get indoors if you hear his call. Like the legends of sasquatch, there are no very clear distinct pictures of the creeper. No game camera has captured a clear image of his likeness. The stories of the Thompson creeper date back to the 1880s when the railroads used to be shuttling coal and lumber through the region.
