An extremely dangerous and stupid internet challenge created by an unknown group on Russian social media websites around the middle of 2010s. It presented itself as a fun internet game that the so-called "curators" would put in their status saying "I want to play a game with you" To enter the game, a player would have to give their info away to the curator, who would then task them to download their app and then complete a simple and remotely innocent task, like watching a horror movie. Every task had to be provided with photo or video proof of completion. As the game progressed, the tasks would get progressively more difficult in brutal, for instance carving a drawing of a whale in their forearm with a razor, with the later challenges being things like "getting rid" of a pet or breaking a limb and making it look like an accident to not raise suspicion. On day 50, the player would be given their final task - deleting all the messages between them and the curator and taking their own life. By that point (or even earlier) if the player refused to do the task and/or wanted to quit the game, they would be threatened that their parents would be murdered if they quit, since the curators had all of the player's information. Those threats were completely baseless and wouldn't lead anywhere, but kids truly believed it and did what was requested.
