1. Of someone who talks excessively to the point where it sounds like a different language. 2. The tendency of heavily narrative-driven JRPGs to subject players to excessively long, meandering stretches of dialogue, exposition, monologues, flashbacks, or backstories that advance the plot minimally (or not at all). This can often last literal hours while characters stand motionless in a room musing and pontificating about the finer points of friendship / fate / the human condition / the true meaning of Christmas / etc.
