A variation of the traditional bicep curl performed while holding an infant or toddler across the arms. It is a form of functional fitness used by parents to maintain muscle tone while simultaneously soothing, bonding with, or entertaining their child. Unlike a dumbbell, the "weight" in a baby curl is self-adjusting, wiggly, and grows progressively heavier over time.
