A personal philosophy or lifestyle choice where someone deliberately avoids having children or engaging in parenthood, viewing it as a valid path of detachment rather than opposition. Unlike antinatalism (which sees procreation as morally wrong), aponatalism simply means "away from natalism" opting out for freedom, focus, or personal reasons without judging others who choose kids.
