A totally real (trust me bro) psychological condition where a person becomes emotionally attached to someone who constantly insults, belittles, or emotionally damages them. Symptoms include: Interpreting emotional abuse as “deep connection” Thinking “they’re mean because they care” * Strong attraction to tsunderes and emotionally unavailable people * Severe Shinji behavior Common examples: * Staying attached to someone who treats you like garbage * “I can fix them” mentality Origin: Named after Neon Genesis Evangelion, a series where nearly every character desperately clings to people who actively ruin their mental health.
