How do two people go from everything to nothing? From staying up until 2 a.m. talking about life, love, and dreams, with tears for not being close to each other, to acting like they were never part of each other’s world? It’s a strange kind of hurt. All those messages like "you’re on my mind,” the poems, the pink sticky notes saying “I adore you,” “you’re my heart,” "I want to be in a cage full of you" ... all of it just disappears. It became "I only feel repultion" And even though I know what happened broke me, part of me still misses who they were before it all. That’s the hardest part.
