Windham County, also referred to as the “quiet corner” of CT is a county where literally nothing happens. The only times this county even gets brought up is when the occasional serial killer gets found hiding out in either Killingly or Plainfield. Anything fun requires at least an hour drive in any direction from the county. Fun Fact: Windham County is only county in New England who voted for Trump in both 2020 and 2024.
