Used by seasoned players who’ve seen enough nonsense to predict disaster before it strikes. You see the names, profile pics, ranks of the lobby and know it’s going to be either chaos, incompetence or misery; the upcoming match will not be remotely normal. You don’t even have to specify why the lobby is bad; everyone who’s played enough would get it. Typing out “>lobby” unites everyone in a shared fatigue. Used to detach personal accountability for whatever catastrophe is about to unfold. As in the ones who type “>lobby” are different from the rest: “it’s on the lobby, not on us.”.
