A humorous twist on “fair enough”. Origin: The phrase was first coined in Malia, Crete, summer 2002 by DJ Keiran B. During a poolside argument, a Glaswegian holidaymaker insulted Keiran in front of a large crowd. Noticing that her bikini bottoms weren’t covering everything, Keiran replied with the perfect comeback: “Furry Muff.” The crowd burst out laughing, the situation was instantly diffused. Later that night, while DJing, he repeated the phrase on the mic and it became the saying of the summer. Holidaymakers carried it back to the UK, where it spread into popular slang. Example: “Don’t fancy another pint?” “Furry muff.”
