noun A completely made-up and context-free phrase that has no inherent meaning, purpose, or origin. "Diddy Nator" is casually thrown around in conversation for no particular reason other than to amuse, confuse, or fill space. The term combines "diddy"—a British slang word loosely meaning "fool"—with the suffix "-nator," commonly used to describe someone who performs a certain action (e.g., "Terminator", "Imitator").
