Definition: A nickname for individuals with a toxic, unkind personality who thrive on creating chaos wherever they go. Never satisfied, they feed off drama, either instigating it themselves or amplifying it in others. Their presence breeds unhappiness and conflict, leaving destruction in their wake. Origins: Inspired by Jurassic Park (1993), directed by Steven Spielberg, where the T-Rex's arrival is heralded by the ominous sound of "BOOM...BOOM...BOOM...BOOM." What follows is chaos and devastation, as the T-Rex, never sated, pursues its victims relentlessly. The only way to survive a BoomBoom is to stay still, avoid reacting, and hope they move on to their next target—often leaving others to bear the brunt of their chaos.
