Owencore is a term that often describes a man who thinks he’s a “nice guy.” He acts flirty in that awkward tiktok way, nerdy but charming, and uses “:3” to seem funny or genuine. However, he feels entitled to date anyone who shows him even an ounce of kindness or interest—even if he’s already in a relationship. If you reject him, break up with him, or even just say you’re uncomfortable, he will usually do one of four things: 1. Play the victim and spread rumors about you. 2. Go full emo and change his profile picture to black. 3. Threaten to kill himself. 4. Act overly hurt and sulky.
