Sedatious, meaning a serene beauty, and also beautiful thoughts. It is said in colloquial circles that it might have come from combining sedate with gracious and radiant. It is meant to be used to describe serene beauty in art, music and the written word, as well as appearing on the visages of certain humans and animals. It isn’t officially a word yet, (as of July 2025) but is in the process of being recognized by Collins dictionary, Merriam-Webster, and others.
