cubby noun /ˈkʌbi/ 1. (Astrological, metaphorical, informal) A Leo-born individual who, once embodying the traits of an adult lion — fierce, proud, and resilient — chooses to revert to the mindset of a lion cub in response to the inequalities and backlash experienced from expressing that fierceness in society. Becoming a cubby is a conscious shift: a form of quiet self-preservation, not weakness. After realizing that strength and pride led only to hurt, the adult lion returns to something gentler — lion cub. In one word: cubby — playful, curious, clumsy, and emotionally raw. But a cubby will still show his claws when he feels threatened. Basic bottom line: A cubby is less stubborn than an adult lion — listens to pretty much everyone and tries not to kick back. Often described as: Silly willie, cheeky sassy, noisy brassy. Noisy curvy. Liony. Cubby. Note: This term applies exclusively to individuals born under the Leo star sign.
