A Gender is something which you can choose. It's something that you can change depending on how you feel about yourself. However there is a term related to it which is called biological sex. The difference between that term and this term is that you cannot change your biological sex. There are only two types of biological sex which is female or male. And it is assigned by birth. However gender is a term which can be changed/choosen.
