Noun. Adverb : Chalked Chalk is generally referred to as “food that holds no nutritional value or general appeal” Eg: the dried raisins in a bag of trail mix, or the whole grain pieces in a box of lucky charms. “Chalked” on the other hand can be used as an adverb to describe any action that felt or seemed pointlessness. Eg., running for a bus and still missing it, or playing any game without success
