* Compulsive use or correction: Perhaps the person feels an uncontrollable urge to use specific pronouns, or to correct others' pronoun usage, even in inappropriate contexts. * Excessive focus on self-identification: The individual might spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about, discussing, or demanding others use their preferred pronouns, to the detriment of other aspects of their life. * Anxiety or distress related to pronouns: They might experience significant anxiety if pronouns are not used "correctly" around them, or become highly distressed by any perceived misgendering. * Delusional beliefs: In a more severe manifestation, there could be delusions related to pronouns, such as believing that pronouns hold special powers or that certain pronouns are being used against them.
