The slow darkening of skin, both in the form of full-body darkening and vitiligo-like patches of extreme melanin, as well as heightening of the body, hair loss, et cetera. If not cured, by the time the virus loses its hold on a Caucasian person with an average immune system, they will be visually near indistinguishable from an African-American. Rarely, the virus can effect people with darker skin, which usually results in the skin becoming abnormally grey-toned, weight loss, and after a week or so, death.
