A portmanteau of "lol" and "politics". Used to refer to political ideologies/policies that disregard the potentially severe repercussive consequences of said ideologies/policies in the interest of public amusement. Motives may vary, from wishing to mock and/or exploit the failures of a political system, to an intentional attack on these systems for perceived slights or failures; all of which are typically unsuccessful in liberal governments. These are determined as "lolitics" due to the singular motive of wishing to challenge, disrupt, harm, or overthrow a system for the sake of public entertainment. Lolitics typically appears among disillusioned societies who feel that they have been abandoned or failed by their current political system, and turn to political memes and humor to cope with the ever-changing world and governments that they feel do not represent them.
