For when two or more people repeatedly engage in a harmful connection or relationship, opting to continue riding the repeating track of incompatibility and conflict, instead of addressing existing issues or separating and disbanding all together. It can also refer to a followed agenda or habit (Relating to a social value that's self-destructive and self-gratifying, or even failing to commit to an announced goal despite failing before, and having the opportunity to improve upon future attempts, but instead sending oneself down the same track with the same destination as before.
