a genre adjacent to speedcore, not defined by its sound, but rather its structure. The focus is on the use of tempo acceleration (whether it be gradual or incremental), causing the song's tempo (and usually intensity) to increase over time. Songs in this genre often feature repetition of previous musical parts, but played faster (and often louder) than they were previously in the song, in order to emulate a sense of stress, panic and urgency. some examples: "Sunny day" from Vib Ribbon, "Remix 8" from Rhythm Heaven DS, "Rush E", "kalinka", "In the hall of the mountain king"
