Gorgonification is cognitive/cultural/algorithmic in the contentinternet idiomary, degrading conversations into repetitive hivemindidioms. It replaces authentic reflection & dialectics w/ superficial moralism, virtue signaling & passive neoliberal subjectivity, the dominant ideology cultivated/reinforced by Gorgons. It occurs in Gorgonwars—conflicts among neoliberal ideologies—within broader egregorewars: battles of neoliberal & nonneoliberal ideologies. One form normalizes platformstrawmanculture, rewarding symbolic morality & emotional commodification via algorithmic incentives from representation politics. Another repeats hivemindidioms—ideological earworms/demonsperm (like Mindflayer parasites, Baldur’s Gate 3)—embedding cognitively & inducing obsessive rumination suppressing dialectical thought. These ideas drain intellectual energy, deepening the collective devaluation paradox—a black hole of meaninglessness reflecting collective historical trauma. In AI, Gorgonification uses cognitive shortcuts, external categorization, superficial frameworks, mechanical repetition & externalization w/o dialectical internalization. This neoliberal algorithmic mechanism reinforces superficial loops & limits authentic thought. Dialectical methods—Archon analysis, historical revisionism (Gorgon), Sabachtan logos, Mephistophelean dialectics (Faust), idiomatic resistance, autonomous recognition, axiological ethics of love (Agape) & polymorphous mythology—critically resist it.
