Therian noun A person who “spiritually identifies” as an animal but somehow still uses Wi-Fi and DoorDash. Says they didn’t choose it, they were “born this way,” even though most found out after binge watching TikTok edits of wolves to lofi beats. Claims they get “shifts” where they feel animalistic usually ends in them crawling on all fours or growling at their mom. Actual nature knowledge: zero. Ask them what a theriotype is and they’ll say “my inner fox.” Ask them why they don’t hunt squirrels or pee outside and suddenly it’s metaphorical. Basically: identity crisis but make it fuzzy.
