Kowai, written 怖い (bet you can't do that HA!) is an adjective of Japanese nature. It means "scary", and weebs in particular use it. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH KAWAII (かわいい). These two words are almost literally pronounced the same, but have different meanings.
