A downter is an individual who actively or passively hinders progress, growth, or positive change within a group or community. Unlike a senter, who inspires and motivates others, a downter may discourage innovation, foster negativity, or resist efforts that push for improvement. Their presence can create stagnation, limit potential, and prevent collective development.
